Linkin Park


Linkin Park is a band nu metal wing from Aguora Hills, California, in the United States. They had several times changed its name, such as Xero, Hybrid Theory, Linkin Park to name until now. The name "Linkin Park" itself is a play on the name of a park in Los Angeles, Lincoln Park.


Linkin Park has released 3 studio albums, namely Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight. Linkin Park also released the album Live in Texas, Reanimation and Collision Course, and Hybrid Theory EP. Linkin Park's success in popularizing songs like Crawling, In the End, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, and What I've Done. In total, the albums Linkin Park has sold 50 million copies.
Beginning
Early formation of Linkin Park Mike Shinoda is the meeting and Brad Delson (Linkin Park guitarist) in grade 7. Then they formed a band called Xero. He also played for the band Relative Degree, one of the personnel that is Rob Bourdon (Linkin Park's drummer). Mike met with Brad and Rob Rob joined the Xero. While in college, he met with Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (Linkin Park's bassist), which is Brad's roommate. Mike, who is majoring in illustration at the Pasadena Art University, met with Joe Hahn (Linkin Park turntablis). Then, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn joined with Xero. Xero Dave had left to join his old band back to, Tasty Snax.
Initially, they recruited Mark Wakefield the vocalist, then taken over by Chester Bennington (former vocalist of Gray Daze) until now, while Mike and so rapper. Unfortunately, because the name of Xero has used other groups, they were forced to change its name to Hybrid Theory. Then, Hybrid Theory, signed a contract with a company called Warner Bros. record. Records after successfully launching the titled EP Hybrid Theory EP in 1999 as many as a thousand pieces
Once again, they were forced to change the name because the name is similar to Hybrid Theory, the band name Hybrid that comes from Wales. Rather than be the same band, they chose to change the name again to Linkin Park. The name was taken from the name of Chester is a park in Los Angeles, Lincoln Park. In order to manage their own web sites, Chester changed the spelling to Linkin Park.
